Bethel Social Services was founded in 2023 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to provide youth and family services to residents in the Northwest suburbs in the Minneapolis area. It was started by some members of Bethel Full Gospel Global Ministries (BFGGM). The church grew to 350 parishioners before declining to 200 when the pandemic hit. Initially it was focused on meeting the spiritual and emotional needs of the African immigrant population in the Minneapolis/Saint Paul area. Today, it is focused on a multicultural ministry approach with membership drawn from different racial and ethnic backgrounds.
